Hayley Joy Woldseth utilizes evidence-based nutrition strategies to guide individuals toward optimal health and wellness.
She is a Certified Nutrition Specialist®, credentialed by the American Nutrition Association® through its Board for Certification of Nutrition Specialists™. With a comprehensive background in integrative and functional medicine settings, Hayley excels in developing personalized nutrition and lifestyle programs tailored to individual needs. She has a keen eye for detail, a passion for empowering others, and actively assists clients and students in realizing their goals.

Hayley holds a Master of Science in Nutrition from Bastyr University, where she now serves as an Adjunct Faculty, developing and teaching graduate nutrition courses in person and online. Hayley is adept at public speaking and facilitating meaningful client and student interactions. She particularly enjoys teaching in the kitchen and engaging with students through discussions.
Completing the year-long Functional Nutrition Residency Program (FNRP) with Dr. Kara Fitzgerald and Dr. Lara Zakaria at The New Frontiers Functional Medicine & Nutrition Clinic was a particularly transformative experience for Hayley. During this time, she completed more than 1,200 hours of supervised practice experience, delving into complex patient cases and honing her clinical skills while collaborating closely with several MDs, NDs, and CNSs. The experience also inspired her to found NutriJoy LLC and continue collaborating with medical professionals to provide accessible and personalized nutrition care.
Before shifting to the nutrition field, Hayley thrived as a dedicated leader and marketer in the nonprofit music sector. Her efforts centered on creating positive change, from improving data systems to enriching patron interactions. Her involvement in expanding an outreach music therapy program for persons with Parkinson’s sparked her decision to pursue a second career in nutrition and healthcare.
Beyond her nutrition endeavors, Hayley is a proud and active member of the San Diego Master Chorale and Incarnation Luther Church Choir. She enjoys swimming, hiking, and rucking with her husband at Torrey Pines State Park.
